Make the (Family) Circle Bigger!

This coming weekend is going to be a significant weekend in my life

Chinelle and I are heading to Joburg to my home where we’re going to officially welcome her to the family at large as the bride to be! I have no idea what to expect! I’m just excited to see it happen.

I realise now how much I’ve been anticipating the day when I come to my family and say: “Sawubona baba, nangu ke umuntu engithandana naye engifuna ukumushada” (Hi dad here’s the lady I’m in love with whom I want to marry), or this: “Ntate, ke kopa dikgomo tse 10”  LOL! (Dad, can I have 10 cows). It’s been coming for almost two years now but man it’s all happening sooo fast. I’m still trying to get used to being engaged!

In the meantime all I have really is just faith & hope in God that He’ll grant our prayers because we can plan all we can but tomorrow remains unknown. In times like these, this song comes to my mind: “I don’t believe He brought me this far to leave me.”
