My Side of 2010

I have1 ticket and will definitely try to attend as much fan-parks as possible! 5 Days to go!

2010 is next week! I’m loving it: - the vibe on the streets, - seeing a Bafana shirt every 30 seconds, - seeing cars with flags attached on them, - the support for Bafana - Bafana’s performance on the pitch (12 games unbeaten to date), - the road-works & repair work brought about by the World Cup, - the idea of Lionel Messi eating a gatsby in Wynberg.

It’s a phenomena!

Joburg has a vibe of note compared to Cape Town (well, I’ve only been to certain parts of the Cape so I’m open to be proven wrong) but ya the other day when Bafana Bafana played Guatemala while I was in Joburg, every time SA scored you’d hear the whole neighbourhood blowing their Vuvuzelas! There’s more yellow Bafana shirts & SA flags than I’ve seen in Cape so far.

I’ve never wanted to own a Bafana Bafana shirt like I do now!
