In a not so long-term planned twist of events, we took advantage of the Women’s day holiday on Tuesday 9 Aug to take leave & Monday too and go away with friends for some time-out.
After searching for good and inexpensive places we found a good place in Gordon’s Bay.
| This is what I love about Cape Town: you can drive out a mere 30km’s out of town and get a sense of being far away. Who needs to go overseas? Ok, not really. It would be great to get a taste of Europe some time, but for now the Cape will do just fine. Plus, I’m constantly surprised how much of S.A we’ve never seen or experienced. |  |

Mackenzie, this must be the most well-behaved 9 month old baby I’ve eve met. Almost as well-behaved as me hehe!
We’re blessed with this clear blue sky weather but judging from how we’re chilled now, I can’t say for sure if we’ll leave the flat…
