When we look back at these pictures, it's so hard to remember what Leo was like 2 years ago.
You get so used to the 'now' that when we look back we're often like "no ways, I don't remember him looking like that"
One of our favourite hobbies is looking at old photos. OK, we have piles of photos, but like piles! Every 2/3 years we buy a new 4TB harddrive. It's crazy but you can probably ask me of any memory of any of our kids I can show you the photos and videos.
Sure, we tend to overshoot slightly... and backing up is a thing we're looking at seriously now.
Still, one of the things I love about looking at old photos is that it makes you appreciate how time flies and reminds to maximise the now: to not postpone living.
As people we don't always have what we want, hope for or dream of right now and the way we focus on building the future can make us lose the significance of the now and to be fully present now.
Really beautiful...some noteworthy lessons too.
