This year's camp centred around Identity. It was student-led and headed up by Bulelani and the team int his photo.
As part of empowering students, we had student leaders minister during altars and they prayed for the baptism of the Holy Spirit for their friends. Many received Gifts of the Spirit evidenced by them prophesying over each other, giving words of knowledge and speaking in tongues. One student reported that her back got instantly healed while she was praying for another student.
On Friday night we ministered around God's acceptance, affection and affirmation based on Matthew 3:17 "This is My Son (acceptance), whom I love (affection) and with Him I AM well pleased (affirmation). We had 3 altar calls for each of the items.
We co-led all the sessions with one student leader. This had a powerful effect as the student leaders' vulnerability encouraged other students to be open and vulnerable themselves allowing for deep ministry.
Chinelle led a session teaching the students how to receive their identity through confessing Word.

FUN TIMES
Sat afternoon was team building obstacle courses.
BONFIRE
Bonfire on Saturday night started by students burning pieces of paper where they had written down identities that they had been carrying that are not from God. Then we made smores and sang around the fire. There is an undeniable sound of personal breakthrough
Fun was had, relationships built, healing experienced and God ministered a new name to everyone that they wrote on their name tags to go frame back in their rooms.
Students also set themselves faith goals based on their identity. Not from a place of striving but from a place of "I'm fruitful by design being made in the image of God", "my actions reveal my values"
